Man arrested for alleged sex assault at TJ Maxx in Radnor Twp.

RADNOR, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police in Radnor Township arrested a man after an alleged indecent assault inside a TJ Maxx, an incident that authorities say unfolded while officers happened to be patrolling nearby.

Sinan Tuzer, 44, was taken into custody after he allegedly inappropriately touched a 19-year-old female inside the store on the 500 block of Lancaster Avenue on Saturday.

Investigators said the woman reported the incident to store security.

According to police, security personnel then walked Tuzer out of the store after noticing officers driving through the parking lot.

He was then taken into custody.

Shoppers in the area expressed shock after learning about the arrest.

"You're kidding me, in TJ Maxx?" said Jacqueline Rawlins of Belmont.

Others said they did not expect something like this to happen locally.

"It's scary. My wife comes here, she shops. You don't expect that out this way," said Frank Raimo of Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.

Police said they believe the incident was isolated.

Tuzer was released on indecent assault charges.
